Food & Drink Festival 2010Getting here
Nottingham has the most highly used public transport system in the UK outside London, which is testimony to the convenience of the services available.
It is also easy to drive into the city, however, and a new set of instructional signage will point you to the nearest
car park on your way into the city - and will even tell you how many spaces are left!
By bus
Buses services to the city are frequent, and most operators offer an all day ticket option.

By taxi
The City Council operates a network of green Hackney Carriages, which can be hailed on the street. If you would like to travel in one of the city’s many minicabs, you’ll need to book in advance.
