What the BID will do must address the issues common to the retailing scene in Nottingham, and must benefit city centre retailers inside the BID boundary.
A BID is a precisely defined geographical area within which the businesses vote to contribute funds towards a series of mutually beneficial projects to improve trading conditions. The projects delivered by the BID should be over and above those services that are provided by the public sector.
