Taxi Marshals
We Are Nottingham, in partnership with the City Council, provide Taxi Marshals at the busiest ranks in the City Centre every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm to 4am.
The Taxi Marshals provide a reassuring presence to both passengers and taxi drivers, allowing visitors to come and enjoy the nightlife that Nottingham has to offer, safe in the knowledge that they can get home both quickly and safely at the end of the night.
Each Marshal is accompanied by a Community Protection Officer on the rank, and also carries a radio that is linked into the night time network, to enable them to draw on additional resources if needed.
